Inviting the Commissioner of Nunavut to Your Event
Each year, the Commissioner of Nunavut attends dozens of special events, ceremonies and celebrations throughout Nunavut. To invite the Commissioner of Nunavut, please phone, email, fax or mail a signed letter on your organization's letterhead. Your request will be handled as soon as received. Please fill out the following form:
Briefly describe organization and event, including date time and venue. |
Provide numbers on how many people will attend, whether they are volunteers, directors or members of the public, etc. |
The role you would like the Commissioner of Nunavut to play: visit, deliver speech, present award, attend performance, etc. |
The name, address, telephone, fax, email and website addresses of the organization |
Anniversaries, Birthday Messages and Special Recognition
The Commissioner of Nunavut sends greetings to Nunavummiut celebrating birthdays of 80 or more in intervals of five years and to couples celebrating wedding anniversaries of 50 years or more. To request a greeting or a special recognition, please send to the Office of the Commissioner of Nunavut and allow three weeks notice.
